Quick Router / Modem Setup.

Step 1)

Make sure the Router/Modem is connected to your PC. Generally you would connect it with an ethernet cable or USB Cable.

Step 2)

Open an internet Explorer Window.

Step 3)

In the address line type in one of the following addresses. The Addresses vary for makes and models so you may have to try a few.

and hit the go button or enter key. A Username Password Query box should appear.

Step 4)

The Username Password Combination will be default as one of the following combinations.

From here all you need to do is enter your Username eg.xxx@hyp.net.au and Password ..which would have been given to you. Some modems will have a wizard to do this.
Just use all the defaults settings, you only need to enter the username and password and thats all (to connect to the internet). Your modems should have a simple instruction manual with it , and for new users I suggest you follow it.

ADSL users need to make sure they have a line filter on every phone attached to the ADSL service number
